The Carrick Way Walking Festival highlights the little known beauty of South Ayrshire where the Southern Uplands reach the West Coast. Walks range between 5 and 15 miles and are graded to suit the majority of leisure walkers.
This year walks will centre on Ballantrae, Straiton, Girvan, Barr, Dailly and Maybole and with different start points each day. Established trails are followed including much of the developing Carrick Way. Some wilder walking on the longer walks may take you over rougher terrain – but that’s part of the adventure of learning more about Ayrshire.
Whether you like a social saunter or a hard hike The Carrick Way Walking Festival will give you a memorable outing or two.
